2015 Sugar Bowl Less Civilized Thread (Arguments/Shenanigans)

Those SEC refs have had it in for tOSU for years. How else can you explain tOSU's terrible bowl record. Those Rose Bowl refs are cheaters too. After the Sugar Bowl, the refs will get some credit for tOSU loss.
He's talking about favorable calls in sec conference play.

Do you really agree with his tin foil conspiracy about the b1g orchestrating that win? Or was that just a vague agreement with a different part of his post?

I thought a more talented team played to their potential, with their new qb passing well. I clearly missed the league orchestrating those passes.

Holding is rampant in b1g play and no one does it better or more often than Wisconsin. They should have called holding on that play. Thing is, b1g linemen tend to tackle DL like that all the time, much to the frustration of the league's best defense for most of the last fifteen years.

For better or worse, B1G officiating is a bit like the EPL... they turn a blind eye to a fair amount of stuff that'd get called by the surrender monkeys to their south.
And yes, I did just equate you guys with the French

Anyway, for whatever reason this conference has a long history - at least in my lifetime - of pretending there is no such thing as holding.

You guys beat WI like a drum....the REFS gave you no help. In my years of watching college football.....I have not seen one conference that has better refs than another. They all seem OK....and they all allow a LOT of holding but LOVE to call block in the back on EVERY long punt/kick off return.

Trust me ...not calling holding is big issue in SEC games too.

I think Alabama and tOSU got to the playoffs on talent and coaching....not refs. FSU got a few calls their way but I'm not calling foul but of the 4 playoff teams, they seemed to get the most love from the zebras.

Wisconsin had poor QB play and is largely one dimensional. The problem was that they cannot score fast and once tOSU got up 3 scores the game was basically over. If OSU hadn't choke held on Zeke's long TD run maybe the game would have gone differently. If that [Mark May] happens again in the sugar bowl I know one Bama fan that is going to be livid.

People think Wisconsin was served up on a platter before the playoff committee and after seeing that play it's not hard to see why.

I never said that. OSU won the Wi game fair and square. And no I'm not a troll.
Next time you want to deny something you said maybe you should remember what you actually said.

Holy shit. An "Alabama fan" with "SEC" is his moniker.

The reason why Wiscy had poor QB play is because he was getting chased almost every down. He did miss a few receivers but that happens when you're under near-constant pressure. If you wanna talk that "if this happened, the game would've been different" shit, then if Jones didn't miss Elliott wide open in the flat on 3rd-and-goal and didn't miss a wide-open WR on the double-move bomb, it would've been 70-0.

I hope all the Bammer fans keep thinking this is going to be a replay of Ohio State-Florida in the 2006 NCG, because those who do are in for a very rude awakening...

So I'm sure you saw the blatant hold on Wisconsin's drive following that gave Gordon his first 1st down of the game right? No? I didn't think so.
