OK, I read some more about the psycho. Apparently she was "defending her son". Videos show said son taunting and challenging opposing fans in the rows in front of them. Yep, telling someone their teams "sucks" is the same thing as getting kicked in the face by a person wearing boots.

Same thing.

I'd live to hear LSU's thoughts on Bama vs Wisconsin in terms of complexity.

in terms of complexity, Bama is the more difficult opponent.

Wiscy does what Wiscy does well (solid defense and ball control offense with Gordon as the Workhorse) and when they get away from that, they ain't real good.

The frustrating thing about Bama is their ability to adapt in-game and change things up to exploit your weaknesses.
they are very capable of just lining up and pounding it up the gut. or they can go to the short pass game with slants and screens. or they can open it up a bit and play more spread type.
power running is their bread and butter, but they are good enough at the other styles to be at least successful enough to make you change your defensive scheme. Which once again opens up the power run for them.

Defensively, Bama has athletes at every level, and for the most part do a great job of minimizing their mistakes and masking their weaknesses.
they are susceptible to the deep ball, but they use their front 7 to get just enough pressure to not allow you the time for the deep throws.
and if your QB makes a mistake downfield, their DBs will punish you for it.

My hope is that the coaches don't harp to the guys too much about how amazing Bama is. I don't want them to play a nervous game, I want them to feel like they own it the way they did against Whisky.

I've watched every Bama game this year. They are no powerhouse and will crumble if we come out swinging.

Bama is beatable. not nearly on the level they've been the last several years.

but like Bama always seems to do, they adapted.
they no longer physically beat you into submission. now they wait for you to make a mistake and beat yourself.

Tide fans: Be sure to check out the site in Nutria's sig "tigalaya.com". Lots of LSU sports, but also some non-sports stuff. One of my hobbies is Cajun cooking and they have whole forums dedicated to that. Good stuff.
