We also faced the #9 passing offense in wvu. I still contend that match ups are most important. Look what auburn did to bama with something like a 60th or 70tb ranked pass offense.

Interviewed with Auburn before they hired Malzahn. I think that's his fourth, maybe fifth, interview since he's been in Tuscaloosa.

A better counter than "Cincinnati is in the AAC" is that Cincinnati threw for 350 yards and 4 touchdowns in that game.

Anyone have thoughts about whether OSU might unveil extra-fast (i.e., Oregon-level) offensive tempo for this game. We know they're capable of it in spurts. Wonder if it might be a big part of the game plan. Gotta believe that Urban's been prepping special stuff for Bama since he's been at OSU.

I don't think it would necessarily be advantageous to do that. They should gameplan to their talent and speed and they will be in a close game at worst.
