Sims can't read defenses and sometimes struggle to get the team lined up correctly and the play called correctly. In away games vs Arky, LSU, and Ole Miss the stadium intensity seemed to get to him a bit and his play suffered. Its also the reason Kiffin stays on the side lines and not in the booth. He needs to constantly give Sims a hand here. Bamas interior oline isn't that strong and when we cant get it done here we try to run it outside more. Those 3 teams were also very quick to cover the edge as well as the quick out passes in the boundary. Ole miss and LSU also have very good secondarys.

No not suggesting that. I'm hopeful that the stage isn't too big for CJ and that we display the same kind of focus and intensity that we had against Wiscy.

As someone else noted, this will be the first time we've lined up against an opponent who's talent is at least as good as ours. Makes for an interesting game.

Ive seen a few people state it as a big advantage for Bama to have a "home game". I don't know if your fan base has changed in 17 years, but I was at the 1997 Sugar Bowl when you guys played Florida State and your fan base showed up in masses to support the team. I wouldn't expect anything less from them in this game.

Agree 100%. Looking forward to a really good game. The Bama trolls can continue to under estimate the Buckeyes.....I hope they get a rude awakening.

Well buckeyes want to complain about where the games is....then have a bowl in snow country that folks wanna show up to, there is reason these bowls are in the south

If your interior Oline is indeed not what it once was then that plays I'm to the hands of a very big Buckeye advantage. Michael Bennett is one of the finest pass rushers from as interior lineman in the country. Adolphous Washington is no slouch either. My main concern is stopping the run and forcing the Tide offense into a lot of those obvious passing downs. If the Silver Bullets do so, I think we could enjoy a healthy defensive performance.

Cover 4. It's a man coverage to an extent that requires key reads. The safeties are key and this defense has a pair of young safeties that are getting better by the day. Von Bell might be a name Bama fans recognize. Kid has shown growth throughout the year and has been lights out during the 2nd half of our schedule.

Cooper is a fine receiver and I'll love to see him in a Browns uniform next year. Don't sleep on Eli Apple or Doran Grant. Might be one of the better CB pairs you've
Seen all year.

I do strongly suspect Cooper will have a safety over the top quite a bit as Meyer will look to attack the run first.
