Eh, that is probably up for debate since we haven't seen Cardale play much. I've watched Sims play and he is very accurate throwing the ball.
I'm just curious how advanced your 3rd string qb can be.... he's not gonna see a high school defense
Blake throws much better in the pocket. It's ugly when he tries to throw on the run. He is also pretty deadly with the slants.I like this comparison. Although Sims has more starting experience. Jones has the superior arm and strength in the pocket. Accuracy I'll defer to our Alabama friends on some input about Blake.
Yeah Sims has been playing well. Alabama as a whole unit has really been coming on strong. Huge challenge for Bucks, especially since this amounts to a home game for them.Eh, that is probably up for debate since we haven't seen Cardale play much. Ohio State will be the best offense Bama has seen this year.

He's been second string since the season began, and if I recall correctly-he got a lot of reps in the preseason. He hasn't been practicing as the opposing team's QB every week in practice. No flame intended, he is the third string qb. and he will face something different than he has ever seen
Yes he's not the starter, the problem with your post was the bit about not playing a high school defense- which seemed to suggest that Wiscy was comparable to that. Seems a bit inflammatory. No flame intended, he is the third string qb. and he will face something different than he has ever seen
I don't recall very many play action boots that ended with a high rate of success. If OSU plays a lot of man to man, you will get beat by three touchdowns. Nobody gets off the line better than Cooper and nobody runs crisper routes than Cooper.Interesting. So would you say there is little boot action or designed plays to get Sims rolling the pocket then?
While I've little doubt it takes accuracy on slants, it is a high completion throw and Cooper makes that worlds easier.
Also, a follow up question - what specifically stands out to you that opposing defenses have done to slow down the Tide offense?
