I think that's depth... Yeldon get's done then defenses have to deal with Henry, and he can be a monster when your tired, same with our D-line... too deep for most to deal with, but Meyer knows whats coming, he can handle it

Defensive line depth has been a weakness all year. That may have changed last night as the back ups stepped up and played very well. Schutt on the inside and Frazier at DE really contributed and made a difference. Another major contributor was that UW really didn't have any sustained drives. Our D wasn't on the field all that long. Finally our LBs played their best game of the year. The D is peaking at just the right time.

They will have to show up and play like they did last night and against MSU if we have a chance.

Besides bringing Cardale Jones further up to speed, I think DL depth is the other big opportunity to discover and develop with the bowl practices.

This and we need to take things outside. Bama's strength is up the middle. Quick strikes, slants, or (dare I say) screens would be effective to start. Then the inside game might open up.

Either way, this is where Urban and the O staff earn their money. If Kiffin can be an effective OC, "Mensa" better show up daddy's boy.

We might also decide to maybe use one or both of our two NFL-caliber (UFM's words) TEs for a fucking change. Heuerman didn't get targeted once last night and Vannett didn't see a snap that I noticed. The only action Heuerman saw was dumping Gatorade on Meyer...
