Game Thread 2015 Sugar Bowl: (1) Alabama vs. (4) Ohio State, Jan 1st @ 8:30p ET, ESPN (civilized thread)

Also, count me in the group that thinks Bama got off light. We all said the guys needed to bring their A game to get the win, and the truth is... they weren't anywhere near their A game and still walked out with the W. More than enough points were left on the field.

Disagree, I don't care. Shot ourselves in the foot for half the game and still looked like the most dominate team on the field. A lot of that had to do with poor coaching decisions during crucial drives and bad field position that was made worse by the calls deep in our own territory, but I have no doubt that it could have been put away much sooner and looked like a blowout.

Bamas punter truly kept them alive tge whole 4th quarter.....but yes the questionable play calling did not help at all. But hey got thd W thats what matters.

Was it my imagination or were the zebras staying over top of the ball while Bama ran in subs? Seemed like we were waiting on the ball quite a bit. Not that I think we were going uptempo but....

if the offensive team substitutes they do that to give the defense a chance to substitute.

If the offensive team does not sub anyone out they can snap it as fast as they want a la Oregon and the every 10 second thing

Whatever you did tonight, whatever you wore, whatever you ate, whatever ritual you completed - you do those same things against Oregon!

But I haven't changed clothes since Dec 6...

The Ohio State University = SEC Champions.
That is all.

Thank god we beat the SEC East champ too

Are we sure he's an SEC fan? Listening to him make fun of that first redneck caller is killing me.

Finebaum knows what side his bread is buttered on. I think it's mostly an act... he's just a facilitator for all their stupid bs.
When you listen to him, he's not that unreasonable himself. He occasionally spouts some bs, but I think it's either a) not biting the hand that feeds; b) instigating and deliberately reinforcing irrational views down there.

The game had a similar feeling to MSU. Started off pretty underwhelming and feeling uncertain after a lot of mistakes... came back towards the end of the 1st half. If not for playing the entire 4th quarter in the shadow of their goalposts, the end score may have been closer to MSU too.
