One of the greatest spectacles in all of college football (and anthropology) is this weekend. The annual Running of the Gumps.

Is it like an easter egg hunt-race where you have to go shopping at walmart and then run across the field or something ?
That guy also says he's been "training all year"... ummm... yea... just like Green's 9% fat.

SECN needs to provide live coverage of this [Mark May], so us Yankees can sit in a leather chair, ice a proper Martini and take it all in as it happens.
I usually love your posts and agree with most of what you type, but who drinks a freaking martini while watching, talking, or laughing at college football? Grab a nice Chianti and that Lean Cuisine in your freezer and act like a true Yankee.

Scout Alert: Status Uncertain For AU Star
Mark Murphy Inside the Auburn Tigers

Auburn football team's leading returning receiver, Duke Williams, will not be allowed to return to practice until he gets his situation with the head coach in order.

The Tigers wrapped up their first week of preseason camp on Saturday with a full pads practice. For a second consecutive day Williams was absent. Malzahn will not say why the receiver is in his doghouse or what he has to do to get back into the good graces of the coaching staff.

Williams, a potential NFL first round draft pick, joined the team last year and performed well, but was suspended for the bowl game for a violation of team rules. He practiced in the spring and won praise for his play in the drills.

Senator proposes Auburn should claim nine national titles

Alabama and Auburn are battling for national championships on the field.

The Crimson Tide won BCS titles in 2009, 2011 and 2012, while the Tigers won in 2010 and lost to FSU in the championship game in 2013. Alabama lost in the semifinals of the first College Football Playoff last season. Both teams are ranked in the Sporting News Preseason Top 25.

But the two schools sure do make a lot of headlines for off-the-field title talk (cough, additions).

The latest: a resolution that Auburn should claim nine national titles. Government reporter Bryan Lyman of the Montgomery Advertiser was on hand at the Alabama Senate meeting Monday.

Cont'd ...

I was trying to think of who is 15 on their team, and then it dawned on me. These mongoloids buy a new helmet every fucking year to bring to this thing and have signed. Oh Alabama Man, just when I think you couldn't be any dumber,.....
