Game Thread 2015 National Championship Game: (2) Oregon vs. (4) Ohio State, Jan 12th @ 8:30p ET, ESPN

Duck fans should just STFU. Without 2 or 3 turnovers on their side of the field...we likely put up 60.

1. I don't think that should enter the coach's mind when making the decision at 1 minute to play, up by 2 touchdowns.
2. However, I definitely agree with the "STFU" part. I used to be of the "take the knee" mindset. And I don't mind that attitude. But I have been more and more on the side of "it's YOUR job to stop us, not ours."
3. Does anyone REALLY care that the final score was 42-20, instead of 35-20?

I didn't even think that in the 2006 NC game. I was pissed off at our defense, not Florida at all.

Same here. I don't think I've ever been mad at a team for running up the score. I might give a "thumbs up" when a team takes a knee at the end of the game, especially inside the 10 yard line. But I don't recall ever thinking a coach or a team or whatever was classless for scoring in that situation, or getting mad at anyone.

That goes a long way to explaining why the Buckeyes have the second highest Elo ranking ever, behind Nebraska '95. This team was really, REALLY good. As in clearly one of the best teams in college football history, not just Ohio State history.
