Hey all. Haven't been around in awhile (maybe a slight indiscretion on the political forum) but I've lived in Oregon for over 30 years and these petit bourgeois/nouveau riche mo'fers are about to drive me crazy (and it has nothing to do with me changing all the office screen savers to TP with a rose in his teeth after that Rose Bowl ..... I'm retired now). Really, they're as much a cult as PSU (albeit in a much cuter, kind of harmless way but much more insular--blame it on the duck down) that is fine justifying sweat shop labor as long as it is for the greater Duck. Give a historic .500 team a few billion $ to play with and you get a toddler playing with expensive toys and crying when things don't go their way. Oy, that was bloody profound. These buggers got me flustered. History, stats, facts nothing means anything to them because--you know--they go really fast. And they have lots of cute uniforms. Fuck 'em. Karma bitch--Bucks 43--13 (both go for two--one gets it.) O-H

I appreciate the BTN, but I find most of their broadcasting to be piss poor, and primarily b/c of the folks they've hired to do them. DiNardo is a douche knozzle, and his constant gobbling chin just adds to the annoyance. I've heard him on ESPN radio a few times, and I've found him to be quite arrogant, especially after a very mediocre coaching career.

Mason is just old school, and considering the fact that he was once an assistant coach at OSU, it's even funnier with his pronunciation of "OHIO" or "Uh-hi-yaaa". I've heard a lot of folks from different parts of Ohio, not named Cleveland, pronounce Ohio in that manner, but none of them were were younger than 70.

Again, I like BTN, and appreciated it's existence considering the current state of ESPN, but, much like many coaches in the BIG, they're personne could use an overhaul.

I think that people from Oregon actually pronounce it ore uh gun. But I could be wrong and don't really give a shit.

Everybody keeps pointing to the Rose Bowl and how Oregon beat up FSU and using that as reasoning for why they're going to beat us. Granted, it was a big win against a top ranked team, but anybody that thinks FSU is a good indicator of what we'll bring is delusional.
