Game Thread 2015 National Championship Game: (2) Oregon vs. (4) Ohio State, Jan 12th @ 8:30p ET, ESPN

Personally hoping the Ducks had overrated FSU as much as their fans and the committee. If anybody didn't belong in the final four, it was that clown show. But, it would be great if the apparent ease of victory in the Rose has given the Ducks a case of overconfidence. Any little psychological edge is a good edge.

That overrated clown show had 528 total yards, 180 yards rushing, 28 first downs. Again, ***if*** the Buckeyes have no turnovers they win. And ***if*** they get off to a good start it's Katy bar the door.

Without the (5) turnovers, FSU easily goes over 600 yards, maybe 700. Did I mention Oregon ranks 83rd in yards allowed. WI currently ranks 4th, Penn State 2nd, MSU 10th, 'Bama 11th.

btw, that terrible Virginia Tech team, which had many injuries to their starting line-up after the Ohio State game, still ranks 17th in total yards allowed per game.

Seriously, someone remind me again why Oregon is the favorite. ok Mariota, but he doesn't play defense and it appears Oregon's actual "defense" is only somewhat successful in red zone defense and takeaways.

>

And I know hardly anyone likes Winston, except FSU fans, but he/the team did win 27 games in a row. I know a team up north which would sell its soul to the devil for that kind of overrated, clown show.:hoke:

FSU was recognized by the polls with three weeks to go in the season when they were voted down to #3 despite being the only undefeated team left in the running.

They reversed themselves in the Rose Bowl, playing well in the first half only to fall apart with tos in the second.

From the Oregonian's (the major paper for the whole state) big Sunday Championship game feature:

Ezekiel Elliott, the Ohio State running back, averages 116 yards per game but isn't necessarily a home-run threat.

I think the average duck fan might be in for a big surprise.

Suggest the paper look at the 85 yard run, Zeke can't be caught by an SEC corner, or the safety. Only player to close the gap is Jaylin Marshall, but we know he doesn't have SEC speed.

Purely looking at turnovers, and when you look at turnovers it's pointless to only look at your turnovers and not the margin, I look at it like this: 0 or better we win, minus 3 or worse we lose, minus 1 or 2 and it's anyone's game. Their defense just relies so heavily on turnovers thst if we don't turn it over, or match their turnovers with some of our own, I just can't see us losing.

Work tomorrow is going to suck and work on Tuesday will be even worse.

Man, you messed up. I made it known immediately after the Sugar that Monday/Tuesday were my days. No way I would be able to do anything at work. lol. Working the day after the Sugar Bowl was horrible. Could barely contain myself from running straight through a wall.
