Finally finished reading through the thread.
Since I'm the only one with AFN on my squad, I invited people over to watch so they didn't have to stream it. All 3 that came claimed they wanted a good game, but all 3 were outwardly rooting against the Buckeyes and expecting a blowout. At half time they noted they were surprised it was close. I told them that they could be getting their blow out. After the 4th turnover, they were all into it being close, and I was still saying it should be a blowout. They couldn't comprehend what I was trying to tell them. No way in hell that game should have been as close as the score. Anyone who says otherwise just wasn't watching the same game as me.

This has been a perfect day for me. What a season, almost like a story or a movie but it actually fucking happened.

I love actually blowing teams out or there never being a fucking doubt. Over the years of Tressel I was pretty used to waiting til the fourth quarter and biting my nails, really today, I was never in doubt. Even when they got it to 21-20, I was not concerned due to how well we were moving and the only reason it was even that close was because we kept shooting ourselves in the foot.

This is the same Oregon as always, really fast, really fun to watch but once they come up against a physical football team they are done. We saw it in the Rose Bowl a few years back and we saw it again today.

This team is smash mouth football, I was listing to Cowherd the other day and he was saying this team is exciting, it's different from the previous Buckeye teams. I don't completely agree with that statement, I just think unlike past years where we relied on one aspect of the team, be it the defense, the running quarterback, the running back, etc... , this team works as a whole. The offense goes for the kill, it takes chances because it knows the defense can make the stop if they make a mistake. It's a thing of beauty.

What a great day to be a Buckeye.
