2015 CFB Week 1 Open Thread

'Big Ten with an up and down start to the year' FUCK YOU ESPN! Minny played admirably when they were supposed to get creamed, the nerds pulled a big upset against Stanfraud, and the rest played out better than expected, but now the shit pedsters are bringing the conference down. As far as I'm concerned ttun isn't in this conference. Can we kick them both out and go back to 12 teams now.

Another one. They don't call him Sackenberg fer nuthin'.

This is turning into almost as much fun as the immortal Appy State game.

Afterthought: What's the BIG record for # of sacks in one game? Are we getting close?
That game can never be topped. This feels a lot like Michigan losing to Toledo. Didn't they have like a 90 year unbeaten streak against the MAC before that?

#MACtion

Rooting for it to be different isn't going to change what's happening. Might as well enjoy a hearty laugh.

I'm clearly outnumbered here.

Well I will say that there is a double-edged sword similar to that of *ichigan games. If they win, it is good for the conference and builds up our SOS until we kick the shit out of them. But if they lose, you have to enjoy. In an ideal world, teams like Northwestern and Minnesota make the conference strong instead. And really, this PSU team is just terrible. Charles Barkley turrible.

They're going to put their hopes on Corn losing and you guys getting upset.

If the Buckeyes take care of business, conference perception in a P5 conference is irrelevant. Hell, Ohio State lost a game last year, heard non-stop of how terrible the B1G was, and they still managed to shine.
