The 2015 Big Ten tournament returns to Chicago's United Center, and it will feature a league first — five days of competition. That's courtesy of the Big Ten's addition of Maryland and Rutgers, which brings the conference to 14 teams. Here's a look at the tournament's bracket and TV schedule.

Interesting that Ohio State:

1) has the most by far (21) of past "all-tournament players" (21)...

Ohio State (21)
Michael Redd, G, 1999
Brian Brown, G, 2002
Brent Darby, G, 2002-03
@Boban Savovic, G, 2002
Sean Connolly, G, 2003
Jamar Butler, G, 2006
J. J. Sullinger, G, 2006
Mike Conley Jr., G, 2007
Greg Oden, C, 2007
Evan Turner, G/F, 2009-10
William Buford, G, 2010-11
David Lighty, G/F, 2010
Jon Diebler, G, 2011
Jared Sullinger, C, 2011-12
Deshaun Thomas, F, 2012-13
Aaron Craft, G, 2013
LaQuinton Ross, F, 2014

and

2) the best winning tournament percentage: (24-10) .706

I'm not crazy about the Thursday matchup, in all likelihood against Minnesota (Rutgers is out-of-this-world bad). Despite finishing the regular season 6-12 in conference, Minnesota has some solid wins (@ Michigan St., @Iowa, vs. Purdue). If the team doesn't learn from what happened yesterday, this could be a very short BTT for OSU.

They were also the only team in the B1G to lose to the Pedsters two times....

Interesting that it looks more advantageous to be the 6 seed than the 5. I'd say Purdue and MSU are about equal....so who would you rather face in the next round? Maryland away from home is very beatable.

There are some bad losses on Minny's resume, to be sure (frankly, you don't go 6-12 in conference without bad losses). But wins at Iowa and at MSU are impressive, and show that Minny has the ability to put things together. I'd much rather the Bucks play the winner of Northwestern and Rutgers than the winner of Minny and Rutgers.
