How bad is Northwestern basketball?

Their old friend Bill Carmody just took his #9 seed Holy Cross Crusaders to the NCAA Tournament by winning the Patriot League before Northwestern has ever made an appearance. Oh, and it was his 1st year at the school after 13 seasons with the Wildcats.

:lol: Holy Cross going to the dance at 14-19. Real question shold be how bad is the Patriot league?

Yea. All 3 of the 'could go either way' calls that the em ounces saw went to ttun. 2 in the last minute of regulation with the travel 2 ft away from the ref and the 5 seconds on inbound and the one out of bounds at the end of OT. Nothing blatant but the announcers seemed to lean the other way on all of them. Wouldn't have necessarily changed outcome if 1 or 2 went the other way. All in all it was a pretty exciting end of a game and fun to watch.
