Time to look at what else is on. Sparty isn't winning this game. The "big, plodding Big Ten" narrative will back in full force tomorrow morning.

Ohio State ran 17 plays for 57 yards in the second half (including a 1 play 6 yard touchdown drive). They gained exactly two first downs the entire half. Their time of possession in the half was just over 9 minutes (if my drunk math is even mildly correct).

It's called not leaving the defense out to dry. A few first downs and some field position would have won the game easily. The offense managed two first downs in the second half. Keep beating the scapegoat drum.

Agreed. It also makes me sad we couldn't force Sparty to throw the ball, especially with a lead in the 4th quarter.

Ohio State took a 14-7 lead with 3:33 left in the 3rd quarter. At that point, OSU had 17+ minutes of possession to MSU's 24+. Our defense was apparently so exhausted at that point that Sparty proceeded to go 75 yards in 13 plays to tie the game without completing a single pass.

Nope, "leaving the defense out to dry" doesn't explain that, unless you want it to explain that. They lined up, ran it, and we didn't stop it. We lost on both sides of the ball. That's not the "scapegoat drum". Yelling "Tim Beck! Tim Beck! Tim Beck!" is the scapegoat drum.

For the record, I hope he's replaced. But I'm not buying the line that he's the only reason OSU lost to MSU. It's far too convenient.

This fucking game is going exactly like i thought it would. Neither team can run on the other. Both teams are struggling to protect the QB BUT I shall be damned if I thought Bama would win the QB battle.

All the big games Cook has had against OSU and now that fucking little twat goes and pulls this shit?

Fuck him. Fuck this game and fuck CFB the rest of this goddamn year.

2015 was a miserable cunt of a year and I shall be glad when she is gone.
