Just a thought I had while watching Bert lose another one...

I wonder if the Alabama lineman didn't false start on purpose. And if he didn't how long until more coaches exploit the clock running after a false start towards the end of a game. What's to keep them from false starting a few times in a row and running a few minutes off the clock?

Cause I'm pretty sure that's not the rule.

Can someone answer why they ran the clock after the false start? Couldn't you just run like 5 mintes off the clock if you just kept doing that?

They infected the entire league with it. LSU, Bama and usually 1 or 2 others used to field stout defenses. Now they all have a few (or all) laughers during the season.

Funny that Mizzou, the other LHN convert, was one of the better defenses last year.

Fox will quickly pick him up. I don't disagree, but Gilmore is just as much a homer for the PAC (esp his alma mater)

Pretty sure he started out on FOX and got canned in the late 90s.

Knowing absolutely nothing about the rivalry, my guess is the winner keeps the white part of the insides while the loser gets the yolk.

Charleston Southern with a FG to cut it to 21-20 @ Vandy. Yep, toughest conference in the world top to bottom. You have to play a championship caliber team every week.

The mighty SEC is up on the FCS powerhouse Charleston Southern by a point with 9 minutes left in the 4th. The SEC officials are doing their best to give Vanderbilt the game....
