ND defense played like crap today, and an aggressive Tar Heel defense helped setup 21 points off Irish turnovers. ND was lucky to come away with a victory in a trap game sandwiched between Stanford and FSU. Win streak will be over next week when they visit Tallahassee.

Saw this on another board:

Anyone hear the announcers on the Michigan game? One of them is breaking ranks, calling it ridiculous that "we always talk about how strong the SEC is when a top ranked team loses in conference, but how weak the PAC12 is when a top ranked team loses in conference." I don't know who he is, but he's losing his job for revealing that SEC dominance is 90% due to ESPN's investment in it and their subsequent spin doctoring.

Just a thought I had while watching Bert lose another one...

I wonder if the Alabama lineman didn't false start on purpose. And if he didn't how long until more coaches exploit the clock running after a false start towards the end of a game. What's to keep a team that is ahead in a close game and with the ball from false starting a few times and running a few extra minutes off the clock?
