2014 Week 14 CFB Open Thread

Not on offense.

You know that isn't what I meant. The scheme that Navy and Va Tech employ on defense are literally night and day different. The offensive line is absolutely not on the same planet then it is now and the offense is playing with confidence in themselves AND Ohio State's scheme on offense.

You can doom and gloom and worry about shit next year, I'm going to sit down, enjoy the ride NOW and hope they get into the playoffs NOW.

JT had a month, but the oline was awful. The line is playing so much better. Marshall has emerged. EzE has grown into a horse. And once JT was carted off, the defense DID carry the team. So much talent on this team. Yeah, it stinks JT is done, but CJ is not a scrub...many were shocked JT got the nod over him to start with...it was a very narrow decision for the staff.

I just really like this team...and if they can step up and beat a Wisconsin team that is playing as good as anybody right now, then I'll love to see what the Buckeyes can do in the playoff. And if they lose, so what? You never know when you will have that chance...can't just bank on being there next year. The interwebs may say, "OSU doesn't deserve it in '15 cuz they lost in '14." But it seems like this committee is looking at how teams play this year...not worried about past years or what talking heads think.

Marshall has emerged, and Wilson is also finished - doesn't help us w/wildcat which we'll clearly need now.
Urban was already worried about the load on Jalin. It just increased.
Cardale leaves a lot to be desired in the pass game and despite his size has failed to pick up a first down on short yardage twice in the 2 times we needed him in meaningful plays this year.
We'll need luck and a lot of work by coaches just to make it through next week.

If you want to give up, just say so.
