Muschamp started 11-1 at Florida. He went 10-14 thereafter.
Wow.
Getting punked by Louisville in the Sugar Bowl was the beginning of the end.
Well, if you're offering me those options I'll choose the ones I didn't make.We can start with your belief that we were outcoaches and finish with your statements about the ineptness of the defense, inability of DBs and LBs... but now you think they're going to win a NC a few hours later.
Which statements do you wish to retract?
Well, if you're offering me those options I'll choose the ones I didn't make.
I never said I think we're going to win a national championship. Those were the words you put in my mouth to prove your point, often called a "strawman argument".
What I DID say is that if the coaching staff can formulate a gameplan to win with Cardale vs Wisconsin I don't see any reason not to believe it's possible to beat anybody else in the top ten.
Our DBs are our weakness, that's clear. But there are very strong pieces in the line and flashes of brilliance in our backers that I'd take against anyone. Would you not?
I will reiterate for you so as not to confuse or muddle the message:
I have seen nothing that says we can't keep winning but, as is the case with every playoff caliber team, I'm aware that we have weaknesses that can be exploited. This in no way means I'm "doom and gloom" about the team and my confidence in the offensive is purely determinant on gameplan, that in no way is an "immaculate" perspective.
If you want to keep arguing fluff, I'm out.
Now I've made myself crystal clear.
Can't be aggressive in the box because the DBs are so easy to beat one on one. Can't max coverage because the LBs can't contain.
Defense has to hope the offense makes mistakes.
That's no way to play.
Mark May has a cock thirst. You can see it in his eyes.
What I DID say is that if the coaching staff can formulate a gameplan to win with Cardale vs Wisconsin I don't see any reason not to believe it's possible to beat anybody else in the top ten.
Does Urban Meyer need to walk on water to convince you guys?!? OMG, really...
You guys lost a HEISMAN TROPHY CANDIDATE Quarterback just prior to the start of the season. If I'm not mistaken, wasn't JT third on the depth chart this year?
How'd that work out for you guys? One loss (and a B1G championship game) later, Urbs is saying, "Next man up."
I think the guy knows what he's doing. Here's your gameplan to stop Wisconsin:
Stop Melvin Gordon and Clement.
Don't allow Stave to get lucky.
You do that, and there's a trophy hoisting happening by ULM.
"We will win a national championship" is implied because I have offered a differing opinion to those that are sure we won't.You haven't made it explicitly, but you've bashed anyone who has doubts. By extension, it's implied.
I'm not even going to attempt to sort through this shit.Yet you claimed our coaching staff was out-coached by fucking Hoke... sorry, does not compute.
If you honestly think the coaching staff was out-done by the likes of Hoke et. al. ... it's completely irrational to think they'll suddenly get a 3rd stringer up to NC caliber.
As clear as mud.
So you believe our D is so weak it can't handle scUM... but good enough to carry this team to a NC.., while the offense has to reinvent itself with yet another QB?
Hmmmmm....
We also lost to VTech during that transition.
Virginia.Fucking.Tech.
Coaching staff is great, but anyone who thinks Cardale is going to come out walking on water in 1 week to 1 month... sorry, not rational whatsoever. It takes time, and there are reasons JT beat out Cardale in the first place.
Some are hoping for a miracle at this point. That's fine... be optimistic. But don't hate on people who aren't smoking your drugs.
