Well, if you're offering me those options I'll choose the ones I didn't make.

I never said I think we're going to win a national championship. Those were the words you put in my mouth to prove your point, often called a "strawman argument".

What I DID say is that if the coaching staff can formulate a gameplan to win with Cardale vs Wisconsin I don't see any reason not to believe it's possible to beat anybody else in the top ten.

Our DBs are our weakness, that's clear. But there are very strong pieces in the line and flashes of brilliance in our backers that I'd take against anyone. Would you not?

I will reiterate for you so as not to confuse or muddle the message:

I have seen nothing that says we can't keep winning but, as is the case with every playoff caliber team, I'm aware that we have weaknesses that can be exploited. This in no way means I'm "doom and gloom" about the team and my confidence in the offensive is purely determinant on gameplan, that in no way is an "immaculate" perspective.

If you want to keep arguing fluff, I'm out.

Now I've made myself crystal clear.

You haven't made it explicitly, but you've bashed anyone who has doubts. By extension, it's implied.

Yet you claimed our coaching staff was out-coached by fucking Hoke... sorry, does not compute.
If you honestly think the coaching staff was out-done by the likes of Hoke et. al. ... it's completely irrational to think they'll suddenly get a 3rd stringer up to NC caliber.

Does Urban Meyer need to walk on water to convince you guys?!? OMG, really...

You guys lost a HEISMAN TROPHY CANDIDATE Quarterback just prior to the start of the season. If I'm not mistaken, wasn't JT third on the depth chart this year?

How'd that work out for you guys? One loss (and a B1G championship game) later, Urbs is saying, "Next man up."

I think the guy knows what he's doing. Here's your gameplan to stop Wisconsin:

Stop Melvin Gordon and Clement.
Don't allow Stave to get lucky.

You do that, and there's a trophy hoisting happening by ULM.

Virginia.Fucking.Tech.

Coaching staff is great, but anyone who thinks Cardale is going to come out walking on water in 1 week to 1 month... sorry, not rational whatsoever. It takes time, and there are reasons JT beat out Cardale in the first place.
Some are hoping for a miracle at this point. That's fine... be optimistic. But don't hate on people who aren't smoking your drugs.

You cannot argue things people haven't said with things you can't actually back and expect people to take you seriously.

I've wasted my time with this argument because I had hoped I could reach some actual discussion.
