November 17, 2014 FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Below is a statement from University of Michigan head football coach Brady Hoke:


“Frank Clark has been dismissed for violating team rules from the Michigan football program. This is a tragic situation. Our student-athletes will be held accountable when their actions fail to meet the standard we have at Michigan. There is a legal process that will occur and we respect that process.”

I've never understood calling these things "tragic".
Generally I think of a tragedy as something that happens to people.
Not something your player does to somebody else; as if he has no responsibility in what transpired.
