2014 TSUN Shenanigans and Arguments

Doubt he'd leave no matter how much cash. He's a Stanford alum, so other than the NFL it's probably his dream job.

If we're being realistic, scUM's best move would be to take a page out of the SEC handbook, go all zero-fucks-given and hire a controversial NFL castoff like Greg Schiano.
Agreed for Shaw. Didn't know he was an alum but thought I remembered that his dad coached at Stanford or something like that. I still think more than doubling your income from 2M/yr to 5M/yr to go to a better program (not as of now, but a MUCH higher ceiling) then you sure as he'll consider it. And that's regarding Helfrich.

To summarize: This is a 1 a.m. press release admitting that a player was allowed to play with a concussion. Its contents completely contradict the statements that player's head coach gave about 12 hours before, and essentially boils down to "well, nobody was watching the game" or those who were either couldn't see the quarterback take a massive hit, or weren't on the sideline to tell people the quarterback took a huge hit.

This is apparently the story Michigan is sticking with. We have a funny feeling we have not heard the end of this story.

1 AM press release FTW!!!!

Michigan quarterback Shane Morris suffered a "probable, mild concussion" during Saturday's loss to Minnesota, and "a serious lack of communication" between the coaching staff and medical personnel led to the sophomore being reinserted into the lineup without proper neurological testing, university athletics director Dave Brandon said in a statement released at 12:50 a.m. Tuesday.

Regarding the Kalis commitment nostalgia, I (we on BuckeyePlanet) have been saying for awhile now that there is a certain type of kid that finds what Hoke sells appealing.

Glory by association, instant success, arrogance and country club attitude. It was apparent from the beginning that these things were not going to result in motivated, disciplined, mentally tough football teams.

Can you get any more proof of this than Kalis and the rest of their 5-star talent floundering into nothingness the past two seasons?
