I realize it was kinda small potatoes, but some guy was named coach of the year in the PAC12....Rick something......anyway, I think he had some ties to tsun.....

  • WATCHED ONE OF THOSE EX COACHES WIN THE PAC-12 COY AND PLAY IN THE CCG
  • Watched OSU win the B1G CG
  • watched OSU get into the inaugural CFB playoff
  • and now get to close this weekend out by waking from the Harbaugh dream and debating "Schiano vs Addazio" in the cold, harsh light of reality

I'm pretty sure we haven't woken from the dream yet........everything else is about right though.

The Beav has essentially been neutered. All he's doing now is posting short recruiting updates, and not even giving opinions. I'd love to know what went on behind the scenes. That place is dying. Sam Webb continues to post his updates, and continues to try to sway people away from the prior Harbaugh-or-bust mentality, but other than providing his updates, he doesn't answer questions and interacts very rarely. I'd be pissed if I was paying for content over there for anything other than comedy relief...and even 75% of that has been killed by shutting down the beav.

lol. he's undoubtedly a good coach, but older guy w/ health history doesn't seem like the homerun their fans want. he'd probably only be there 3-5 years. would get them a good foundation for the next guy though. I'd be shocked if he left dke though, just seems like the right place for him. and tsun getting turned down by duke's coach would be glorious, magnificant even.

He turned down Tennessee when they hired Butch Jones and he had extensive history there. I can't see him going to try to resurrect a dumpster fire with the dumbest fanbase in America and not even knowing if the guy who hired him is gonna be his boss. Plus, like you said, he seems happy at Duke.

:lol:. No list would be complete without Gruden's name being mentioned. Did Huge run of out breath before he could name Vince Lombardi as a candidate?
