Heir to Mike80's will soon! YAY!
Being 17th in passing =/= a good passing attack. that means they were average.
And what about teams that were 3rd, 5th, 7th, 11th-16th?
In case you didn't notice, and judging from your posting history you haven't, all of those teams have either an above average to good defense or an efficient to HOF-level Quarterback. I know this was pointed out to you about 30 pages again, but in your quest to be the worst poster since CraigJWalkup (IN THE HIZZZOUSE), you've ignored it yet again.
8-12 playoff teams had a good passing attack. You that dense that you don't think a great offense makes a good D? You keep pts on the boards and your D off the field. Yes there are some great QB's on those teams, but when is the last time a QB has been great without a WR? They go hand in hand. There is no ignoring anything. The FACTS are that 8-12 playoff teams were great passing teams. This is 2014, the days of 3yds and a cloud of dust are over. I get that you were born in the 1920's and feel that rushing is the only way to play offense, I get that you're trying to be the second coming of Woody Hayes, but get to reality man. 99% of the football world right now is confused why the Browns have no WR's, but I am supposed to listen to a handful of internet tough guys who clearly are missing the boat? No thanks. I hope it doesn't come to it, but don't be shocked when in 6 months we look at this thread and realize our offense is crap bc we can't move the ball since we have no WR that can get open, and therefore no running lanes for Tate. I'm sure you all will just find a way to blame Johnny Manziel though for it.
