It's amazing all that Mike Martin at Florida State has done, but has never won a national championship. They are national seeds yr after yr but never win the big one. Guess it shows how hard it is to win the college world series.

definitely not easy.
and once you slip into loser's bracket it's even harder.

i've seen some teams that were really freaking good not even come close.
and then teams like Fresno St. for '08 who wasn't anything special got hot at the right time and won the whole thing.

Sure hate to see Indiana and Neberaska not make it to the super regionals. But on the other hand cool to see different schools make the suppers, Kennesaw State, College of C,, La Lafayette. Should be fun to watch Maryland & Virginia play next wkend.

Also interesting to see Maryland beat South Carolina twice, the second time to send the Gamecocks home (relatively speaking, with the games being in Columbia).
