It's a pretty big blow. He is one of the best left fullbacks in the world. Also when you factor in the suspension of Pepe, Portugal is playing without half its first choice backline.

I think when you combine that with the red carded pepe for Sunday's match, it's big

but this team isn't that great IMO, you contain Ronaldo, you contain the team

He's a starter for Portugal....so he's pretty damn good. But comparing it to Altidore isn't really fair because the US doesn't have much else so the loss means so much more.
