Actually the tourism comment was Jake.

The original point being is that you aren't going to get a playoff game in the midwest. The reason is pretty simple, the system is rigged for the current bowls. And, yes, throwing up 20,000 word posts on the internet isn't going to change squat, but be my guest. Just don't be mad when someone tells you that you're either

A) preaching to the choir

or

B) wishing for something that won't change

And yes I'm saying it - the only way a playoff game gets into the midwest - be it Shitcago, Indianapolis, Detroit or wherever - is when the NCAA steps in and administers the championship for this level of football like they do for all other levels of NCAA sanctioned football. And if the power-5 split off from the rest of the FBS like it appears they want to do, the stranglehold of the current locations/bowls will only increase.

And that's enough of this stupid topic. Back to laughing at TCU and Ole Piss.

But its worth writing 20,000 word posts about why we're right but shouldn't say anything.
The long posts, such as this and Jake's history of changes (but get used to current status quo b/c its never changing), have all been from the 'why are you talking about it' crowd.

Talk about swinging at windmills.
