Game Thread 2014 B1G Championship Game: tOSU vs. Wisconsin, Dec. 6, 8:17 PM ET, FOX

As much as I like Gus, he lost me a bit when he went on about Urban being from Toledo. Get your facts right Gus, not that hard to find out where he's really from!

Born in Toledo, raised in Ashtabula and with degrees from Cincinnati and Ohio State, Meyer made it clear from the day he took the Ohio State position - Nov. 28, 2011 - what his intentions are: "We're going to make the great state of Ohio proud with everything we do."

So, some family things have kept me away from the board...but not the games. Man...what a game to be at. I'm only now getting my voice back. I haven't had time to rewatch the recording yet, but I'm pumped to get to that hear Gus call the game.

I also know what shirt I'm wearing on New Years Day...I got it for my birthday in October and I've worn it twice this year: November 8th and December 6th.

Unless you are well into your seventies, I don't think you have EVER witnessed a can of whoop ass like that one. The last time a top 15 team got beaten like that was Penn State, 61-0, by Army, in NINETEEN FORTY-FIVE.

(Ped State fans blame the refs, btw.)

Unfortunately, I'm 50. My memory of Ohio State games goes back to around the 69-70 seasons.

I've seen Ohio State blow out a ton of bad teams, but this was the most dominant performance over a quality team in my memory.

We put it on Lou Holthsz and ND one night in Ohio Stadium (96ish?) but that game was something like 46-20.

The first and last time Wisky was excited about this game is when they won the coin toss.

Ah, yes. Reminded of my late father's joke from decades ago:

A coach is being interviewed after a particularly crushing defeat.

The reporter asks him "What do you think was the turning point in the game?"

The coach's dour reply: "The National Anthem."

This question should probably be in the technology thread, but I'm wondering if there is a way to download this video? Suggestions?

I have the game on my DVD burner, but it would take me two hours to edit all the commercials out. This copy looks flawless.

Shoot @BUCKDUBBS007 a PM

VLC is a very popular video player. I highly recommend it and it can open almost any video file. 10x better than Windows Media Player.
