Other games possibly worth keeping an eye on

Vandy @ aTm 12:21- It could happen...

TTU @ Stoops family penis orchard 3:30 Fox

Tennecheat @ Bammer 3:30 CBS -Can the vols play well 3 weeks in a row? No? Ok, thought it was worth asking

NCST @ Criminoles 3:30 ABC- Noles will probably be on high alert here and be prepared to take the wolfpacks best shot and keep on rolling

Clem @ MD 3:30 ESPiN- How do the fighting Dabos bounce back?

UCLA @ Nike 7 ESPiN- Hundley, you know what you must do

SCAR @ Mizzou 7 ESPiN2- Wouldn't be surprised if Tigers roll. Also wouldn't be shocked if they crumple. Good luck Maty

Fresno @ SDSU 10:30 ESPiN2- Don't know why I bothered typing this

Stanford @ Oregon st 10:30 ESPiN- Should be a good one
You forgot Furman at LSU and Florida Atlantic at Auburn

One thing that the SEC does much better than the Big Ten is bury its cupcake games later in the season. Back in the 70's, the Big Ten used to schedule conference games to open the season. I'd like to see the conference get back to that, with semi-rivalry games as openers (Ohio State and Wisconsin, for example). It's much better to have a Week One win over a tough foe than a MAC/FCS cupcake. Also, when you need a "bye" in Week Nine, then you schedule the MAC/FCS team.

Plus it helps to beat the conference foes while they're ranked.

Especially after Ole Miss beats NW by a field goal in a bowl game. Their preseason ranking will be based on that, but tOSU won't get a lick of credit for beating NW, at their place, at night, when they were undefeated.

Well that and another paid for recruiting class. Hell Kentucky is one highly ranked secpn class from being a top 25 team. I just heard fowler break in and say the "Against Vanderbilt Johnny drama is back to being Johnny football". The fact that it's Vandy seems to be completely lost on him.

Vandy is in the SEC tho. If they were in the B1G, they'd be in the middle of their sixth straight undefeated season. (Not counting six straight bowl losses to SEC)
