Back to back shutouts for Wisconsin is worth taking note of also.
No it's not. They've played one of the worst schedules in college football so far. One opponent has played one season at the FBS level going 1-11. The other was an FCS team that went 3-8 last year.
Ohio State, SEC (Bama, LSU or aggy) and Nike all go undefeated, and who do you think the media will be screaming for in the title game? And don't for one moment underestimate the power of a full-on espn three week hype campaign for SEC vs. NIKE. That's OK, because the computers will put us in......oh, no they won't because the Big Ten sucks, our rival sucks and our "marquee" ooc opponent sucks.
Hint: it won't be us. We're the one left coming out of the bathroom holding nothing but our dicks.
Christ, I'm almost getting to the point that I want to see it happen just to be proven right.
GO FUCKING BLUE. GO TONIGHT, AND GO EVERY WEEK UNTIL THE LAST ONE.
If you think an undefeated buckeye team would outpoll an undefeated nd you are delusional.
You'll be fine. Michigan State has no offense, Purdue will be as good as having a bye week. You'll have one loss heading into Stanford after which it'll be two.Man, that Irish defense is a far cry from where it was last year. They only lost 3 guys from that defense, but a few were certainly key guys. Losing Danny Spond to ongoing migraine issues really hurt in a game like this, he was great at setting the edge and preventing guys like Gardner from taking off. I thought that Te'o's replacement, Grace, played pretty well. Not a great job by the secondary tonight though. They had no answer for Gallon, that was just ugly. I certainly expected Michigan to put up more points this year than last year, I would have never guessed 41 though. I'm a bit surprised that we struggled on offense as much as we did too, we seemed to be controlling the trenches. I think we were just completely out coached. Diaco didn't make the adjustments we needed on defense, and offensively we continued to struggle in the end zone. I expected a few losses this year, but I was hoping to get out of September before we had one. We're probably looking at more of an 8-4 regular season, maybe worse if they can't figure out what's going on with this defense.
