FFS, Mettenberger hit Bama defenders in the hands three times on that series, then on fourth down with nothing to lose the throws it so far away from everybody that it hits the ground in the end zone. At least throw it into traffic and give somebody a chance you assclown.

They definitely aren't as good as the last few years but they would need a major let down. They aren't going to overlook the iron bowl. Maybe MSU or the SECCG

Dumb commentators and refs, not a late hit. The dude was sitting on top of the defender (thus play is still live), and only had his hand down for a split second... Might be a targeting call, but not a late hit.

That was my thought too -- looked like one of those plays where the guy rolls on top of the defender and keeps running.
edit -- the head to head was textbook targeting however
