Is now open!

Refer to this FAQ post if you have any questions about how to join, create or edit your picks, switch between the NFL and NCAA pools, etc.

Note well that Baltimore @ Denver is on 9/5 at 8:30pm ET, so everyone who wishes to pick the full slate will want to pick at least that game before kickoff.

If you participate in this pool, I recommend 'Watch'ing this thread as I'll announce here when new weeks are posted.

All of the 9/8/13 games have been satisfied. The system didn't like the Cinci game ending at exactly the -3 spread, so I changed it to -2.5 (Bears picks are correct either way) for the sake of getting the result to flag properly. Will contact the developer, but the results are valid either way.

@AuTX Buckeye is off to an early lead with 10 picks for the week, we'll see where we stand after the Monday night games.

Not too late for others to join. Monday night games lock at kickoff, and I expect to have the week two games populated on Tuesday.

We mis-keyed the date for the Ohio State game for the coming weekend (9/14), but it has now been corrected. If you made your picks between last night around 7pm EST and 4:45pm EST today, you may want to revisit your picks and make sure things are as you want them. Thanks!

She meant this for the college pickem thread.

Week Two results have been keyed in. Congrats to @SEREbuckeye who stands alone atop the week two leaderboard with 12 of 16 games picked correctly against the spread. After two weeks, @Bestbuck36 and @LongwoodBuck (who is now beating me in both the NCAA and NFL pools) have the early overall lead with 19 of 32 correct.

I'll post week three games as soon as odds are available, hopefully early tomorrow before GTAV arrives -- because you're all dead to me after that.

Week three results are posted. Congrats to @Piney who went 11 of 16 and stood alone atop of the week. Leaving him one point behind @LongwoodBuck who is, inexplicably (I say, since she's smoking me) atop of otherall leaderboard after three weeks with 29 of 48 correct. Clearly I need to teach her how to start betting online.

I'll populate week 4 as soon as odds are posted.

WEEK FOUR IS POPULATED

There's a game tomorrow night, so get your picks in sooner rather than later (or at least that one, since the individual games only close at the point of their own KOs).

Good luck, all.

Week four results are posted. Congrats to @HineyBuck who picked 12 out of 15 correctly to take the top spot for the week. @Piney has taken the overall leaderboard top spot with 37 of 63 correct.

Per the norm, I expect to populate week five as soon as odds are posted (probably late Tuesday or, more likely, early Wednesday).

Week 5 scores have been keyed. Congrats to @MD Buckeye who correctly picked 10 of 14 games this week and was alone atop the leaderboard for this week. There's another change on top of the overall leaderboard as @LongwoodBuck has moved back in with 45 of 77 correct.

Will populate week 6 when odds are posted. Good luck, all. And keep picking.

I can't belive how UGLY a week I had. 3 of 14??? How drunk was I when I made those picks?

I'm seriously considering offering a bpCash reward for anyone who knocks @LongwoodBuck off of her perch... You know, since I seem patently incapable of doing it myself.

That aside:

WEEK 6 IS POPULATED!

Giants at Bears is tomorrow at 8:25pm ET, so get at least that pick in beforehand!

The top of the leaderboard changes every week, and the number of people who have picked every week seems to be dwindling. While this year was sort of a trial run for the software (my intent was to have straight, spread, and points pools for NCAA and NFL next year, and perhaps reach into other sports), I'm also using it to gauge interest -- so if you enjoy this, keep picking.
