Florida can reach the Elite Eight by beating a 14-seed, an 11-seed and a 15-seed.

I didn't need Jay Bilas to tell me that.

The Gators reached the sweet 16 last year by beating a 10 seed and a 15 seed. Luck of the draw.

What's more amazing is that not only has FGCU won but they have won very convincingly.

I won't be surprised if the Gators roll them but FGCU defeated Miami, at Miami, earlier this season. They also lost twice to Lipscomb.

Regardless, they're fun to watch and they're in the Sweet 16.

That was an ugly game for us. Referees let them play it wide open and fast. Hardly a foul called in the 2nd half. That kind of game works so well for FGCU and we just got destroyed. We couldn't play a lick of defense against them and our offense just wanted to rely on the 3-pointer when they were down barely losing. We can't shoot 3-pointers... so that was a good decsion. I think these Aztecs managed to overlook them just like Georgetown did. Chase Tapley played a terrible game. Franklin and Rahon were the only Aztecs to show up to play.

That being said, I honestly can't wait for them to lose. Their teams' personality just grates me (tongue wagging, on-court dancing, flopping around, celebrating before they connect on lob passes, calling for flagrants on minimal contact) and CBS/TBS crews are all over their nuts. I'm probably mostly bitter on that, but I just find them very annoying.

It was worse watching their little 5'5 trainers celebrating in the locker room like they had a hand in it.

I like the rest though, they are fun to watch.
