Seeing as how recently Sparty has done well in the tournament when doing poor in the B1G tournament, I have them going pretty far, even though they ended the season playing dreadfully. No idea how they've been doing that going into the tournament on such a bad note, but Izzo has done an excellent job in that regard of quick turnarounds. So much for the poor start to this game though. Up 17 going into the half.

Judging by the start to this half, that would be a yes. Extended the lead from 17 to 27 in six minutes. Can this Wichita State-Pitt game start already. These first two games have been pretty lackluster.

Sparty win 65-54. Stopped watching the game when they were up 49-22 early in the 2nd to watch the Bucknell-Butler game, so it looks like they didn't close out so well. Still won comfortably it seems though.

Dwayne Evans is outscoring them himself. He has 16 to NMSU's 14.
