2013 BPCFFB II Season Thread

I'm finishing up my draft boards so if you want to get the draft thread going I can probably get it started in a bit.

American Athletic Conference (bastardized Big East) is still in play, right?

I really dislike drafting QBs with my first pick and I snagged Hundley off waivers last year. A lot of question marks surrounding the top WRs on the board this year, so I went with a safe bet in Carey. RR will run him until he dies from it.

I had the exact same feelings...until you took Carey right before me. I'm not incredibly high on Hundley, but I felt I had to get him there, or I would've been in a poor spot at QB picking one later.

Yeah I'm gambling a bit at QB but like the 8th-12th options at QB far better than the 6th-10th options at RB. I wanted no part of Mr. Lee at USC (someone else can roll the dice without Woods & Barkley) and after him is last year's biggest bust, Sammy Watkins.

I feel there is a big drop off at QB after the first few this year....would rather get a top RB and get a couple of non top QBs later to rotate and hope one blows up

Totally agree. I know I reached a bit for Hundley, but I felt the potential was still there. I feel the same way about Lee, despite him being a special player. I'm just not sold on the little I've seen from Wittek. Watkins might end up being a good option with the departure of Hopkins, but that still remains to be seen

There definitely is & I was in the same thinking, but that was my downfall last year. Landry Jones was a disaster & I ended up going through a plethora of QB's throughout the season.
