Looks to me like these two conferences are the cream again this season, and that they're very closely matched overall.

Indiana is looking pretty weak compared to my expectations, and Northworstern may start to realize the issue wasn't really coaching.

Yeah, I'd say the Minnesota win was the one good surprise for the B1G. Gophers look like a team that can be competitive in in the B1G this year since the league is down a bit from the past couple of years. PSU was more competitive than was expected as well.

Certainly MSU was at the top of the list for most disappointing Big Ten team. To me, Northwestern was also a disappointment because they got run out of the gym, but I guess that is to be expected somewhat because they're supposed to bring up the rear in the league. Indiana was also a disappointment to some degree.
