This may have already been mentioned in one of the numerous places discussing this, but I don't think it's any coincidence that Hoke's policy changed the week after he got it handed to him by Meyer. I'm guessing there was a moment after the game where he realized that not only did he need all the talent he can get, but he can't let them go to the other sideline.

Translation of Hoke Call to Dawson: Yeah, uh David, uh, yeah, sorry bout that ultimatum about visits and uh stuff. I, uh, well, um, hadn't eaten in a while. And, yeah, I get um kinda grumpy, you know. Plus we just um lost yet again to Ohio and so I'm willing to eat crow.......uh, actually I'm willing to eat anything. I'd say that playing Virginia Tech in the Sugar Bowl was a better dream-come-true for Michigan. Excluding Pitt in 2004, which BCS bowl team was LESS deserving of a BCS bowl game than those two teams?

I'm talking this year. People were throwing around LSU, who would have sodomized them, last week.

But yes, that VT pairing was a joke.

Last year at this time, tSUN was complaining how unfair it was to allow Urb to recruit all December.

This year, I have not heard any complaints, although Urb and all his assistants are kicking up dust.

Kind of funny.

Give it time. Especially if Hoke the Joke fails to win his bowl and his recruiting class starts to crumble, then we will hear the "unfair advantage" Urban has with extra time recruiting. What they don't want to realize is that Urban is a master at recruiting and the Joke is mediocre at best.
