That was some CRAZY shooting in the first half...they hit 3s like they were layups. Nice use of TOs by Calhoun...oh wait, he didn't take any until they were down 22 :shake:

Don't look now, but it's a 6 point game. UConn may not pull it out, but you had to figure they would make a run at it even after going down by 22 early.

If they would have managed the first half a little better they could be in a good position to really have a good shot at it. They lost this game in the first 12 minutes (assuming they in fact lose it).

You seem to be assuming calling a time out would've changed things. Maybe it would've, and maybe not.

Credit to Iowa State for playing a good game right from the outset, as it appears they're about to move on to play Kentucky.

They started shooting the 3 too early. If they would have gone to the hoop at the 2:00 mark, they could be right there in this. 3 possession game now.

And now 4 points. Woohoo, March Madness is awesome.

Kentucky is good, but I think the weakness of the SEC has them being overrated slightly. They aren't unbeatable for a team like Iowa State - if they play their best and UK isn't ready, then they have a chance to pull the upset.
