Leaving in Daniel Bard today, to throw 110 pitches, in his second ML start, after he walked two guys on eight straight pitches, puts anything Slow Hook Tito ever did to shame and it's only April.

I was following the game on my computer via MLB.com's Gameday feature and couldn't believe what I was seeing.

It blows my mind that he didn't bring in Morales or Thomas to pitch to Pena in the 7th after Bard gave up a walk to Rodriguez and a single to Jennings.

At least they're off to a better start than last year. :bonk:

I read that 36% of Bard's pitches yesterday were sliders, too. Good luck with that, elbow!
