2012 NFL Draft - general discussion

Clemson's Dwight Allen (now of the Colts) -- seldom have I seen such an impressive on-air interview. Said all the right things when it came to him and Coby Fleenor both being selected at TE by Indy. Now, let's see if he and Fleenor can produce in the Colts offense with Andrew Luck at the helm.

Something tells me the Colts have another dynasty awaiting them in about 3 years. Very impressive early picks.

Luck is good. Really good.

They'll be just alright.

In other news, how about those Alabama and LSU defenses? Would love to get Honey Badger next year on the Browns.

Russell Wilson is the first smart pick Petey Slick has made for the Abominable Seagulls since this draft began. He's a smart, capable QB. The other picks Seattle has made, on the other hand, could have been engineered by a sheltered workshop.

I wasn't sold on Sanu in the 2nd, but for a later 3rd round pick that is nice value. I don't think he will be a star (he is not fast enough), but he is polished, a good route runner, and has good hands.

At this point I am happy with the Bengals draft.

There's a reason certain franchise have extended runs of success. Indy is an example, and they'll be back sooner rather than later.

Then there's the browns...
