2012 Men's B1G Tournament (Mar 8 thru 11)

If Northwestern loses this OT to Minny their bubble officially pops. If they win and lose to scUM tomorrow they are a maybe. If they beat scUM they're going dancing.

The opinions expressed here are my own.

Big game by Brandon Paul! 2-11 from the field, 0-4 behind the arch. 4 points.

Iowa wins 64-61... see you later Bruce Weber.

Mike Tirico, during the scUM vs. Illinois game a few weeks ago, mentioned how he thought the breakout game Paul had against the Buckeyes really hurt them. Because of that game he got full of himself, taking bad shots and being really arrogant.

See where that got them.

just realized the game is on BTN, that pisses me off

I'm in the same boat, but I'm looking at it this way: if we lose, I'll be glad I didn't see it. If we win, we're on CBS saturday afternoon.

Tonight I'm rooting for the Children of the Corn.

Bucks will be taking on Purdue tomorrow. I hope I'm wrong, but the Boilers set a school record for three pointers this season and I think they will be a tough out.

Agreed. They're out. I'd love to see them in, but every time they've had a chance to make a statement as to why they belong in the tournament this year, they've failed to do so (e.g., last night, OT losses in each of their games against scUM this year, etc.). They don't belong.

Wisconsin is looking to end a four-year streak of one-and-done appearances at the Big Ten Tourney, and they're off to a good start against Indiana. 25-15 Badgers with 11 minutes left in the first half.

With IU's latest injury UW has no excuse if they lose.
