2012 Depth Chart (General Discussion)

I love that we have a lot of frosh in the 2 deep. Get the young pups some experience for the future. But I'm surprised most by brionte Dunn starting at kr and adam griffin beating out the frosh at cb. Kind of tHought I'd see Murray or reeves behind roby. I like Williams and Crowell at their new positions. I'd rather see Crowell flying around on the outside and Williams seemed like a better mike. Can't wait to see the stoneburner mismatches at wr now. This season will be exciting and next year has a possibility to be even more explosive if the frosh are able to make good use of their pt.

And can't believe there's no mention of Jamal Marcus and where does this leave rod smith now? Especially when hall returns

I was impressed by the number of underclassmen in the two deep - until I realized that the only scholarship upperclassmen who are NOT in the two deep are Domicone, Wood and Williams.

Thrilled to see Dunn make the depth chart, but disappointed for Smith. He will never get that spot back and it has to be discouraging. You could be very talented and work very hard and still come up fourth in that backfield once Hall returns.

Would like to see Marcus get in on special teams just to keep some confidence. He is moving from full time DE to LB and it is a big adjustment, not everyone is Ryan Shazier and Ryan did look pretty lost in the spring game last year.

Not bashing the kids but makes you think about having much playing time Rod, TY, and Tommy Brown will ever get.

Nothing was too surprising, good to see Josh Perry doing well. Seems like people forget how athletic he is.
