2012 All-American Lists

Can somebody explain the Le'Veon Bell love to me? His stats are simply the result of volume. He's averaging a pretty average 4.5 ypc, and 5.7 yards per reception. He's only averaged > 5 ypc in one game this year, and that was against friggin' EMU.

Then again, looking around the country, it's a really weak year for RBs...geeze.

Also, Taylor Lewan on the 1st team? Wasn't he abused by bammer?

How is Hankins 2nd team? Lotuleli is really really good, but Hank is ahead of him in every draft board and i presume in nearly every statistical category.

That's what I was thinking as well.

Regarding Bell, I wonder if it has anything to do with the dearth of B1G skill players that could be picked? Without Bell, you're left with a surprising choice of Lewan representing the B1G on the first team offense.

Honestly, Bell and Gillislee have no business being on the first team.

I'd rather have Blankenship, Getz, or Franklin up there.

However, it's the whole ARGH OMGZ SEC SCHEDULE!!

Who goes before Bell?

Burkhead? Debatable. Abdullah has been as special but in different ways.

Hyde or Hall? No.

Toussaint?

Ball has had some rough outings.

The northwestern all purpose back is an interesting choice but not a true back either.

I believe the list is All-American, not all-B1G. There's no way in hell that Bell is the best or 2nd best RB in the country. We totally shut his ass down on his home field.
