Sweden has a goal taken away on a bad offside call.

The US got the goal from Wambach, and then got hasty for the remainder of the match which led to a lot of long, speculative and imprecise passes and shots.

And of course, Sweden are celebrating like they're about to lift the cup. :lol:

So I see this thread and a lot of you guys are into this so I tune in and watch some myself to see what its all about.

There was no nudity I could see whatsoever.

I am confused.

Not that the United States would've won if the outcome was different Wednesday, but the five previous champions have all won their group.

Two times a country finished second in their group made the final of the five previous Women's World Cups (2 of 5).

tough result for the ladies. Luckily they are still through ever with the loss. Game vs Brazil should be really good. Something needs to be done with that back line though. They were outplayed all game.

They're slow and sometimes very unorganized, which is not a good trait going against a Brazil side that's pacy on the counter/break.

Actually lucky the Swedes didn't bury that opening one-on-one.

I don't know why but I was wondering why Rebecca Lowe was wearing an "Evening Dress" during her coverage prior to the game. She wasn't on the post-match, which could explain why (hitting the club). In all honesty, I'd rather have her host studio stuff (during WC) rather than a Mike Tirico or Chris Fowler. At least she does EPL all year round.
