So...gotta be some interest?

Group A games started today in Germany. France beat Nigeria 1-0 to open WWC '11.

Germany up on Canada early with a 10th minute goal, 1-0.

United States kicks off Tuesday at 12:15pm against North Korea.

Games are on ESPN/2/3 throughout.

I just wish Equatorial Guinea would've brought Salimata and Bilguisa Simpore.

There were three suspected (to be men) and they brought one. So 1-of-3 is better than 0-of-3. Might as well throw out all stops since they qualified with them.

I watched the first half of the N Korea game today at lunch. They seemed to be sleep walking. had a few scoring chances that they blew. N Korea almost had a couple goals.

We'll see if they wake up in the second half.

I don't know why this is brought up now. When the white kits were first released a month ago, that's the first thing I noticed.

I'd actually suggest nurses wear the kit. Probably sweat less or feel more comfortable.

The U.S. began its campaign for its first Women's World Cup title since 1999 on Day 3 of the tournament and it did it in a new kit. The women are once again in their usual all-white home strip. But the new design, worn in their opening-match win against North Korea, already has fans saying that it looks like a nurse's uniform.

Went to the game yesterday.

I was really impressed by all the Germans there cheering for the USA. There were 21k in attendance and N. Korea had maybe 100 fans. They were all European Communists.

Actually enjoyed the game (I hate soccer) and am thinking about taking the family to the one in Shinsheim.

it's a beautiful game to see live. You get the atmosphere that you don't get watching at home.
