Sorry I have been MIA but I have been wrapping up by work with Disney and then driving up to Michigan from Florida. Extremely disappointed that Harbaugh turned us down and a bit hurt, but hey, it is what it is. I want him to do well in the NFL.

Right now I'm looking at Miles or Hoke. Yes, Hoke, go ahead a flip out. As the two I would be happy with.

To the guy saying '61-'63 was worse than '07-'09:

11-14-2 (.429) is actually better than 15-22 (.405), since as someone else pointed out, although RR won more games, he 'lossed' far more.

Watching them debate how desirable the job is = schadenfreude.

I was thinking schadenfreude with ice cream on top.

I think the day approaches - Muschamp winning the Cocktail Party for the Lizards after a losing Poodle 2011 - that could bring me the same joy that y'all are experiencing.

I honestly have so many mixed feeling about all of this.

On one hand I would like to see tsun be good (enough) again to make The Game more interesting... but perhaps only as good as say our Coop.

On the other hand I couldn't care any less that tsun may fade away into an also ran among directional schools.

One thing that I do know is that after reading some of those posts and having a feeling of what you all must be going through, I hope to never be in your shoes. Walk a mile in a man's shoes? Do not want. TYVM.

yup, that's me....

So you wanted to keep Rodriguez?

Coop had some pretty good teams in there. Just a complete inability to win big games when they counted. Heck, that may have even been harder to deal with in that you knew that you had a chance and should have won a bunch of those but for whatever reason it just didn't happen.

Ugggg... time to start suppressing those memories again.

Should have never brought them up.

that's what I don't understand about Cooper. I've heard a lot over the years about him "not getting the rivalry" either because he was an outside guy brought in, but dang, since he left coaching, he's been a pretty large staple at osu. I mean he still has an office at osu right? is he still on the osu payroll in some capacity? Like the poster said, he was in NO supporting, for an outsider who couldn't beat Michigan, he sure seems to have embraced the buckeye lifestyle, even long after his tenure was over.
