2011 Stanley Cup Playoffs

I have seen this script before... I am done. Cant watch this shit anymore. Hawks are in Luongos head. Defense is slow getting back and making lazy passes, and I have yet to see if Ryan Kesler has played at all in this series.

I don't know if I'd hit the panic button yet, Hossa had to score eventually

When Duncan Keith has 4 goals in 3 games (7 in 82 reg season), you smash the panic button with the largest hammer you can find. I don't know if VAN can rebound from this. Luongo is done. He's never been a good playoff goalie, and he's definitely showed no signs of "breaking out". CHI has scored some fluky goals, but it's because they are out skating VAN and consistently getting behind the defense. Not unusual to see domination like that in the first round, but it's usually the #8 seed getting pounded.

The BOS/MTL series has been a lot of fun to watch. I certainly wouldn't mind if it went to 7. Suban has developed in to a really impressive player. His profile lists him at 6', 202lbs; those don't sound remotely accurate, he looks like a giant out there. Maybe it's because he's skating with Gionta, Camillieri, and Gomez.

I was half listening when one of the intermission guys (Milbury?) said it was an intentional head shot.

I realized tonight it was Kieth Jones. I knew it was some moron with a head molded out of ground chuck who can make a $1000 suit look like an art teacher's smock, so I just assumed it was Milbury. I guess I just wasn't ready to believe that anyone would clip a microphone on that brain-dead gorilla. The Vs. producers should insist that Jones wear a helmet on camera, it would make him seem more intelligent. Then again, if a person can't come off as half-way competent sitting next to Roenick, they should probably avoid public speaking altogether. I just want to watch hockey without being subjected to offensively mediocre babble between periods, is that so much to ask?

'Hawks force game 7.

Schneider got the start for Lunogo, but Schneider got hurt on a penalty shot. Luongo was battling the puck pretty bad the whole time he was in. He's just bad in the playoffs. No confidence, looks lost. Hossa had a monster shift on the GWG shift.

According to the Hawks' announcer, the penalty shot that tied the game in the 3rd period was the first-ever penalty shot goal in the playoffs in their 86-year history.

Luongo will have a little bit of pressure on him in Game 7.
