No shit Muck - I suspected some kind of Bama computer virus was sent to Auburn every time they send a few bucks to the Tommer Trees fund.

Look, I'm no fan of out of control, redneck fans. Still, I can't help but see some form of karmic justice in some out of control nut poisoning Auburn's trees after AU cheated their way to a national championship.

Hell, next to Earnhardt causing his own fatal crash by trying to wreck another driver, it might be the greatest sports example of justice being served.

Nah - the good Rev. Newton would have been poisoned, not the poor trees...

Anyway, it was an Iron Bowl loss poisoning, not a BCSNC motivated deal.

(I did shake my head at the official Auburn comment that they are still trying to assess how much poison was administered to the whole area, in that the repeated hosing down of the toilet papered Toomer's trees each weekend (to remove the TP) may have washed away some of the chemical and so kept less from being absorbed - only to hurt other trees near the scene. )

yea this is true, and depending on the chemical used its active duration could be quiet long and extremely hard to get rid of.

Any chance that it would wash into the local water supply, supposing that the treatment plants wouldn't get it out?

I'm only concerned because they really can't afford to get any stupider on The Plains.
