THANK YOU FOR STICKING WITH THE THEME OF THIS THREAD. IM EXCITED TO SEE WHAT ROD SMITH BRINGS.

Now that the thread title has been corrected we just look like idiots.

Well, I suppose that isn't really a change for me. . .

I really am curious to see what happens though. You never know when a player can really shine when given the big stage as opposed to practice. This may be good for us in the end. I am just waiting for Colorado-Miami-Mich. St.-Nebraska. That is an awesome four games. Three teams we rarely play and a team that was good (lucky?) last year. This season might be fun to watch after all.

On top of the yearly beating of tsun. I am very excited for this season. Backs against the wall, with a ton of talent and an opportunity for a few leaders to emerge and carry the team emotionally. If this stable of backs plays to that potential, we could have a very special season.

Hall is going to spend a lot of time in the slot but he's still going to take carries from the RB position. They like his running too much to see him used primarily as a receiver.

Camp is starting soon and we'll probably get a better feel for who is going to be starting then. Whoever it is, is going to have to earn in because we have quite the stable. I like Berry best when he runs from the shotgun. I like Jordan Hall and Rod Smith running dave.

I believe a weakness when TP was qb was that we did not get enough playmakers involved. I look at Florida, USC, Oregon and we have equal talent on offensive. Get the ball out of the qbs hands into Hall or Brown and let them beat a man on the outside with bubble screens or quick outs. We did it with Ted Ginn but have not seen much creativity since then. I also hope they utilize the TE more. I love to see Hall, Brown, and Berry on the field at the same time. Speed kills and they can all take it to the house.

Play all of them and let the cream rise to the top. We know what Boom brings. The only upside of him being suspended is that by the time we go to Nebraska, one or two of them will have separated themselves from the others.
