LOL! Naw, just had a major lag time between typing the reply and submitting the reply. We have a 9 week old beagle puppy in the house and needless to say, it keeps me on my toes hence the lag time.

But I am glad to see that the top of my head is still functioning.

Hmm.

Pre-season 2011. Don't yet know who's staying and who's going to the NFL... but whatever! In lieu of a top-25, I'll just make some predictions about what I think.

USC will win the Pac-12. Arizona will go to the Rose Bowl.
Auburn will finish the year unranked. Georgia will be a top-20 team.
Ohio State will be in the conference title game against Iowa.
Oklahoma is going to win the Big-12.
Boise State and TCU will both lose to teams other than each other.
Notre Dame will make it to a BCS bowl game.
San Diego State will win 10 games next year, including at Michigan.
Matt Barkley will be a Heisman finalist.

None of this matters. But I do love college football.

I'm just putting this out there, but if Miller gets rolling and Hyde gets in some games I think the biggest storyline for us won't be missing these guys for the first 5 games but rather what do we do when they get back? Those first 5 are going to be where we set the tempo and figure out our identity. If these guys step up and perform at a high level I hope we can keep the locker room intact.

I don't like the argument that only one of those games is a challenge. I think our coaching staff has their work cut out for them to plan for two seasons in one. Whether we like it or not, the way we play is going to be different for the first half of the season. It has to be. Can we just switch gears when these guys come back? I hope. Hats off to our staff if they can make this work without us getting dinged in the first 6 weeks.

I basically agree, but Tressel & Co. have a reputation of making the most of what they have to work with. I don't think there's a reason to panic just yet.

One game at a time. We are more talented then everyteam we play next year. Yes were loosing alot of starters, but its time to reload more silver bullets. And on offense were gonna pound the ball with the young backs. I really dont see us loosing, even without the tat 5
